These Terms govern your use of ChatBoom.in. By joining a room, uploading a file, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ChatBoom. By using the site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your conduct
Public rooms work because people treat each other decently. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or deliberately upset other users
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Share content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or promotes violence
- Attempt to scam, phish, or solicit money from other users
- Spam rooms with repeated or automated messages
Content you share
You retain ownership of anything you post or upload. By sharing content in a public room or through our upload tool, you grant ChatBoom a limited license to store and display that content for the purpose of operating the service — for example, showing your message to others in the room, or serving an uploaded photo at its share link until it expires.
Moderation & enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. Reports submitted through the Report an Issue page are reviewed by our moderation team.
Uploaded files
Photos and GIFs uploaded through our sharing tool are subject to the expiry duration you select at upload time (5 minutes to 30 days). After expiry, files are removed from active serving. Do not upload content that infringes someone else's copyright or that depicts anyone without their consent.
Disclaimer
ChatBoom is provided "as is." We don't control what other users say or share, and we're not responsible for the conduct of people you interact with in a room. Use the same judgment you would meeting anyone new.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
